Behind MetronomeLab

MetronomeLab is a visual metronome for iPhone and Android. Instead of a blinking light or a swinging needle, it draws the beat on a rotating circle, so you can see where every beat, accent and rest falls before you hear it.

It is made by Asztalos Levente, an independent developer in Hungary. The app, this website and the support inbox are all run by the same person, so messages to support go straight to the developer.

The app has four modules: a metronome, a sequencer for writing your own rhythms, the Intervaller for timed practice routines, and a polyrhythm trainer from 2:2 to 11:11. It is free to download, and Pro unlocks every feature as a subscription.
